Primary conflict: Daphne and Sabrina’s (well at least thought) their parents ran away from them about a year ago. They have been moving house to house ever since trying to find a family who will love them and care for them. They finally reach one house. The woman claims to be their grandmother but years ago their father had told them all of thier grandparents had died before they were born. One day while the family is in the car with Mr. Canis a giant comes along and sweeps up the car. The girls manage to escape but Mr. Canis and Granny are still in the car. Sabrina and Daphne have to try as many ways as they can to get their grandmother before it is too late.

Best part: Daphne and Sabrina brake Jack the Giant Slayer out of jail to have him kill the giant when he comes. Jack becomes bad at the end of the book. Jack has this sword that kills anyone it touches even if it just a tiny scratch. A giant comes along and Jack kills it. Then the girls hear the sound of a motor. Suddenly the car comes out with Mr. Canis and Granny!!
